The two volume builds
Both return the same 6000 mAh pack. What changes is the bay count and the form.

Add a pack pool to the bay count. Eight bays with eight packs and no spares runs at two thirds capacity the week one pack is lost.
Concurrent borrowers decide the bays
Daily footfall tells you the size of the market. Concurrent borrowers tells you the size of the cabinet: the guests holding a pack at the same moment on the worst night of the week.
A 120 seat restaurant with a 40 minute wait can have 15 guests holding a pack at once. Eight bays with eight spare packs covers it. Eight bays with no spares does not, because half the bays sit empty until the first packs come back.
Two eights or one twelve
A common question once a second room appears.
- Two rooms, two doors: two 8 slot stations put a return behind each door. One 12 slot cabinet serves one queue.
- One room, one door: a 12 slot build is cheaper than two cabinets and one software licence less to manage.
- A failed unit: two stations lose half the capacity, one cabinet loses all of it.
- Counter length: most bars do not have the length a 12 slot cabinet needs. That is why the stackable form exists.
