Portable power bank station for events.
8 and 12 slot units that stack for transport, run from one circuit on site, and go back in the van on Monday morning. Judged on how fast they go up and whether they come back.

Two portable builds
One for a single tent, one for a gate or a main stage.
The event checklist
Six things to settle before the truck is loaded.
| Item | Why it matters | Settle it |
|---|---|---|
| Power | One circuit per stack, plus the distance to it | Before the layout is signed |
| Staffing | One person per two units at peak | In the event contract |
| Pricing | A flat event fee beats a per hour ladder | Before the gates open |
| Deposit or ID | The only thing that brings packs back | Per event policy |
| Weather | Rain, dust and heat all find an outdoor station | Cover or move indoors |
| Teardown | Cable, packs, signage, unit, in that order | Named owner |
An event station that is not counted at teardown loses packs quietly. Count packs in and packs out, every time.
Demand arrives in a wave
At a festival the demand is not spread over a day. It arrives after the gates open and again before the headline set. A stackable unit is sized for the wave, and two units in two places beat one unit twice the size, because the guest will not walk 400 metres to return a pack.
The other half is the return: a flat fee with a deposit gets packs back at close. An hourly tariff with no deposit does not, and the loss shows up at teardown.

Three failure modes at a festival
All three are operational, none of them is the hardware.
- No deposit: packs leave the site in pockets, and the loss exceeds the rental take.
- One point of return: guests keep the pack rather than walk back across the field.
- No teardown count: the shortfall is discovered at the next event, when the pack pool is already thin.
For a multi-day event, quote the pack pool at 1.2 times the bay count. The extra packs cover the ones still out when the first wave returns.
Before the order
What changes when the station travels.
- Packed dimensions and weight: the van, the flight case and the venue gate all have limits.
- Cable length: the distance from the unit to the nearest circuit is usually longer than planned.
- Deposit policy: printed on the signage, not explained at the counter.
- Count sheet: packs out, packs in, per unit, per day.

Venue type, busiest hour and destination market is enough. The reply is a build, a slot count and the specification sheet for each line item.
