The event contract usually asks for packed weight and stack height before it approves the layout. Ask for both with the quotation.
Sized for the wave
Demand at an event is not spread over a day. It arrives after the gates open and again before the headline set, and then it stops. A unit sized for the average hour is empty at the peak, which is the only hour that pays.
Two units in two places beat one unit twice the size: the guest will not walk 400 metres across a field to return a pack, and an unreturned pack is a lost pack.

Deposit or ID
A flat fee with a deposit gets packs back at close. An hourly tariff with no deposit does not, and the difference shows up at teardown as a shortfall in the pack pool. The deposit is printed on the signage, not explained at the counter.
Teardown count
Packs out, packs in, per unit, per day. An event station that is not counted at teardown loses packs quietly, and the shortfall is discovered at the next event when the pool is already thin.
